This project examines the Emirates beyond Dubai from a personal perspective. It documents the contrast and diversities of the region’s topography, social structures, and communal spaces, as well as the prevailing atmosphere that shapes everyday life.
Rapid population growth in recent years has accelerated urban expansion across the country to meet increasing demand. As a result, a growing number of residents have relocated from Dubai to neighbouring emirates, seeking more affordable housing and comparatively quieter living environments.
